If you are traveling north of Yankton next week, you might want to prepare for a potential delay.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation has contracted with Diamond Surfacing to make some necessary road repairs to the intersection of Highway 81 and 46.

Gall adds that traffic will be moved over to one lane on Highway 81 during the duration of the project…
The plan was to complete concrete repair work along Broadway in Yankton yet this year before the snow flies. Gall says that might have to wait until spring now. A final determination will be made when the Highway 81/46 project is complete.
