There is more camping space coming to Lewis and Clark Resort near Yankton.
The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department is allowing the resort operator to expand their facilities.
Game Fish, and Parks Regional Park Supervisor Shane Bertsch says about thirteen acres will be added to the west side of the resort area….
Bertsch says this summer was an outstanding year for the resort…
This is just the first phase of the expansion, with another forty to fifty additional camping spots to follow in a few years.
The goal is to have this first phase complete and ready by the spring of 2022.
