Fall has officially arrived in Yankton, but that doesn’t mean the end to road construction season.
Starting Wednesday morning, 23rd Street west of West City Limits Road will be closed to traffic.
Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says major construction work will be occurring on that stretch of road…
Leon adds that she is optimistic the project will be completed in a timely fashion…
Contractors will be on site installing utilities and preparing the street section for concrete pavement. Drivers that typically travel on 23rd Street may utilize either Highway 50 or Highway 314 as a detour route.
