Yankton High School has a new band director this school year.
Gwen Wenisch moved from the Yankton Middle School to the High School. Previous to the Yankton School District, Wenisch was the band instructor in the Menno School District for several years.
Wenisch says she not only has a passion for music, but a passion for kids as well…
Currently, Wenisch and the Yankton High School band is preparing for marching competitions…
Wenish adds that she is honored to lead the strong music program in Yankton.
