A local lawmaker who is helping write rules for medical cannabis usage in South Dakota is encouraging some changes before they are all said and done.
Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton, who is a member of the state’s rules review committee, says there needs to be clarification over applications for dispensary licenses…
Cwach adds that with Yankton being a “hotspot” for future medical cannabis dispensaries, he doesn’t want a race to the courthouse situation…
The rules review committee will meet again in the middle of September to possible finalize the laws surrounding medical cannabis usage.
