Nebraska’s US House Congressman Adrian Smith is on his summer vacation from Congress, and will be making a stop in Hartington Monday.
Smith has been very critical to President Joe Biden’s 30 by 30 plan. This is the federal push to conserve 30 percent of U.S. lands and waters by the year 2030. Within the next 10 years, the federal government hopes to transition nearly 440 million acres into federal protection.
Smith says this federal push is a horrible idea…
Smith adds that overall, the 30 by 30 plan is unnecessary…
Smith is speaking at the Hartington Chamber of Commerce’s monthly meeting tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the meeting room of the Cobblestone Inn and Suites.
