Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a Fort Calhoun man as part of a large drug bust in Knox County.
On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed on a residence just northeast of Lindy in Knox County. At that location, Nebraska State patrol investigators located more than six pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, three pounds of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, pharmaceutical pills, and drug paraphernalia. Investigators also found four firearms and explosive material.
Investigators subsequently arrested 31-year-old Jacob Drews. He was lodged in the Washington County Jail in Blair Nebraska.
The residence near Lindy is owned by Paul and Brenda Drews of Fort Calhoun.
The Nebraska State Patrol says that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected in the case.
