Despite some setbacks, the Yankton Fire Department quickly extinguished a trailer house fire on Wednesday afternoon on Yankton’s east side of town.
Shortly before 1:30 PM, the Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire report at 908 Bill Baags Road Trailer number fifteen.

In addition to the trailer house, an older pickup and motorcycle were a complete loss in the fire due to being on the exterior of the home on the downwind side.
Nickles says the cause of the fire is not completely known at this time, but suspects in started in an exterior garbage can along the side of the house.
