The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating a vehicle fire and death in rural Clay County.
According to DCI Chief of Staff Tim Bormann, the vehicle was found Tuesday. There is no threat to the public, and investigators are not looking for any suspects.
Bormann says he cannot release at this time where exactly in Clay County the vehicle was found, however, the investigation is ongoing.
The South Dakota DCI in conjunction with the South Dakota Highway Patrol and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the death.
