The Yankton City Commission met Monday night, and quickly took action in adopting a Yankton city Ordinance creating licensing for possible future medical cannabis dispensaries. The ordinance has been discussed in great length at previous meetings leading up to the official adoption Monday night.

According to the ordinance, any possible medical cannabis facilities may not operate outside of a time period from 9 AM to 9 PM, and must be very secure including high-definition video cameras.
