Organizers for Yankton’s Ribfest are preparing for an increased turnout after last year’s event was canceled.
Coordinator Tara Leonard says Ribfest will be the first big summer event, and people are looking forward to enjoying live music and delicious food.
Leonard says preparing for Ribfest takes a crowd, and the planning committee is looking for volunteers.
Ribfest will be held Saturday, June 12th in downtown Yankton and more information is available at yanktonribfest-dot-com.
