The Yankton VFW Post 791 had a special program Friday night to mark their 100th anniversary.
Quartermaster Dan Klimisch says the VFW had a pause during the pandemic and when they considered re-opening this year, their funds were not available.
VFW State Commander Cody Mangold of Yankton says he was proud to present the 100th anniversary centennial certificate to the Ernest Bowyer VFW Post 791 during the ceremony.
The Yankton VFW at 209 Cedar was packed with people Friday evening supporting the post and donating funds to help replenish their bank account.
