The Yankton School District is nearing the end of a school year filled with drastic changes.
Yankton Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle says there were many factors that allowed the district to have in-person learning options this school year.
Kindle says decreased community spread of the coronavirus also helped keep students in the classroom.
The planned last day of classes for Yankton students is May 20th.
