Hartington Cedar Catholic has won a Nebraska statewide award for having the most students involved in at least three activities among the Class D schools.
Cedar Catholic Activities Director Chad Cattau says the Nebraska State Colleges help to sponsor this new honor.
Cattau says it was exciting to be a winner of this award from the Nebraska School Activities Association, and it reflects well on the coaches and teachers as well as the parents and community support.
Hartington Cedar Catholic had 94 students enrolled and 74 of them are involved in at least three activities. The school will be presented with a large banner at the Nebraska state soccer championships next month.
