The Ban on Open Burning in Yankton County has been lifted.
Yankton County Emergency Management Director Paul Scherschligt says after the county fire chiefs met Tuesday and discussed the conditions, the ban was lifted at 7:00 last night.
The Yankton County Commission had approved the Burn Ban at their regular meeting two weeks ago.
