After not being held last year because of the pandemic, the Yankton Citywide Cleanup is underway this week.
Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says as usual the weather is cold and windy, but the cleanup is starting pretty well.
Leon says many City of Yankton employees help each year with the Citywide Cleanup.
After the Cleanup is completed, Leon says City staff will release data showing the tonnage collected and other information from the process.
