Yankton city officials are still planning on a Memorial Day weekend opening of the Huether Family Aquatic Center, but the timeline is drawing closer.
Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says she’s a little nervous about being ready before June.
Leon says they still have a number of job positions available for part and full time work at the Aquatic Center.
Yankton city staff estimate they will need from 75 to 100 employees to staff the Aquatic Center throughout the summer.
