Yankton City Commission Election in Four Weeks

The municipal election for the Yankton City Commission comes up in four weeks.

Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says absentee voting starts next week with voter registration still available for the next two weeks.

Leon says there are seven candidates for three open spots, and City of Yankton residents are encouraged to vote.

The Yankton City Commission candidates will be listed in the following order:  Mike Villanueva, Stacey Nickels, Nathan Johnson, Curt Bernard, Michael Grave, Thomas Bixler and Bridget Benson.

The election will take place on Tuesday, April 13th.
