Students in the Yankton School District will continue to get out of classes early on Fridays through the spring.
Yankton School Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle says the School Board agreed last night to extend the release of students early on Fridays to give more planning time for teachers and staff.
Kindle says the School Board approved a number of bids last night for improvement projects in the school district buildings.
Kindle says as of last Friday afternoon, there were two positive cases of COVID-19 across the entire school district, both at Yankton High School.
