Thanks to hard work and great volunteers, The Center in Yankton continues to deliver meals to seniors during this pandemic.
Executive Director Christy Hauer says The Center is still closed, but continues to provide meals and hopefully re-opening in the near future.
Hauer says they have delivered thousands and thousands of meals during the past year to seniors who might go hungry otherwise.
Along with the Meals on Wheels program, The Center also provides a monthly commodities distribution and pet food program even though their building remains closed to the public.
