The nation’s top NAIA athletes are in Yankton this week for the Indoor Track and Field Championships inside the Ruth Donohoe First Dakota Field at Mount Marty University.
Mount Marty President Dr. Marc Long says schools from across the nation are very impressed with the new Fieldhouse.
Long says everyone involved is putting in a great deal of effort to make this a very safe event.
There are a total of 40 events between the women’s and men’s divisions with an average of 16 competitors in each event. The national meet runs through Saturday and is co-hosted by Dakota State and Mount Marty.
