The City of Yankton Mask Ordinance will last only six more days.
Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says the City Health Board has recommended the current Mask Ordinance expire at the end of February.
Leon says the City will continue to monitor the pandemic situation closely when this ordinance runs out.
Yankton County currently has 36 active cases of the coronavirus and the weekly positivity test rate is just over six percent. There have been 3,753 people in Yankton County that have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
