The ongoing COVID 19 pandemic is having an impact on this year’s session of the South Dakota Legislature with lawmakers having to maintain precautions against spreading the coronavirus.
District 18 Representative Ryan Cwach says allowances are being made for legislators who have to isolate themselves due to COVID 19.
Cwach says he has increased the level of coronavirus precautions he is personally taking.
Cwach says two pieces of legislation he helped sponsor to provide mental health services to our state’s first responders have passed through committees and are now in the Joint Appropriations Committee for consideration.
The main run of the 2021 South Dakota Legislative session wraps up on March 11th.
