As work continues to progress on the Huether Family Aquatic Center, local officials see the need for more lifeguards to work at the new facility once it opens this spring.
Summit Activities Center Recreation Coordinator Brittany Orr says during a recent tour, the progress that has been made on the aquatic center was evident.
Orr says lifeguard certification classes will be held at the Summit Activities Center over the next two months.
Orr says more information on lifeguard classes is available on-line or over the phone.
The Huether Family Aquatic Center is expected to open sometime in late May.
