With the deadline for nominations coming up next week, 100 Women of Yankton is seeking new members to help continue their mission of supporting local non-profits and charitable organizations.
Steering Committee member Kristie Tacke says the group’s goal is award donations of ten thousand dollars or more to an organization selected by the membership.
Tacke says more information on joining 100 Women of Yankton is available on the organization’s website.
Tacke says since 100 Women was organized, they have donated nearly one hundred thousand dollars to local organizations.
Tacke says the deadline for nominations is February 18th with the next donation distribution set for March 4th.
