The acquisition of a used truck represents a big step forward for the staff of Pathways Shelter For The Homeless in how they are able to process donations of household goods to their facility.
Executive Director Jesse Bailey says once they have possession of the truck, they’ll move forward with plans to hire additional staff.
Bailey says anyone wishing to donate household items for the facility should contact them first to make arrangements.
Bailey says the staff at Pathways makes every effort to stretch scarce resources as far as possible.
Bailey says work continues to move forward on the project to renovate the basement at Pathways Shelter into a living area for additional clients.
