A Sign-Up period is going on now for those in northeast Nebraska who fit into the COVID-19 Phase 1-B Vaccine Priority group.
Julie Rother is the Health Director of the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department in Wayne, and says Phase 1-B has had major changes in the past two weeks.
Rother says administering a COVID-19 vaccine is more complicated than a typical flu shot.
Rother says their office is getting a limited quantity of vaccine doses at this time.
The Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department serves people who live or work in Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne Counties, and sign-up is available through their Facebook Page.
