Area young people have the opportunity later this month to begin to develop their ice-skating capabilities through the Yankton Area Ice Association’s Learn To Skate program.
Learn To Skate Coordinator Shawn Weber says within a few weeks of coaching, young people quickly develop their ice-skating skills.
Weber says through the Learn To Skate program, young people can determine if ice-skating is an activity they have an interest in.
Weber says at both practices and events, Yankton Area Ice is taking precautions against the spread of COVID 19.
Weber says the upcoming Learn To Skate sessions gets underway in January 13th.
