The Yankton County Commission took action this week to spend money from the Federal CARES Act allocated to counties and cities across South Dakota.
Commission Chair Cheri Loest says Yankton County originally received one-point-five million dollars, but it turned out to be 350-thousand additional dollars.
Loest says most of those funds are going to road and bridge needs in Yankton County.
Loest says 650-thousand dollars will be allocated to roads in Yankton County and 350-thousand for bridge repair.
