Thanks to a gift from the Huether Family Foundation, the kitchen at the Yankton Boys and Girls Club will be renovated with commercial-grade equipment that will enhance the club’s ability to provide meals to its members.
Chief Development Officer Nicole Biever says the kitchen equipment the club is currently using is worn-out from years of use.
Biever says the new kitchen equipment will allow the Yankton Boys and Girls Club to expand its food programming to include guests from the community.
Biever says a Boys and Girls club membership helps our community’s young people to meet their nutritional needs.
Biever says the estimated cost of the kitchen renovation project is seventeen thousand dollars and is expected to be completed by late February.
