In preparation for the coming year, Habitat for Humanity of Yankton & Clay Counties is seeking donations to help them carry out their work of helping lower income families afford clean and safe housing.
Director Rebecca Meier says in spite of the COVID 19 pandemic this year, the Yankton community provided much needed support for Habitat’s Re-Store.
Meier says Habitat is currently seeking donations for both their home build program and a new home repair program.
Meier says students from the Yankton High School building trades class have contributed hours of labor on the new Habitat home currently under construction.
Meier says more information on helping to support Habitat’s mission can be found on the Habitat for Humanity of Yankton and Clay Counties’ website.
