Yankton County reported three deaths yesterday from COVID-19. There have been 21 deaths from the virus in Yankton County, and 15 of them have been since November 1st. Bon Homme County confirmed its 22nd fatality from the coronavirus on Friday.
Yankton County has dropped to a total of 297 active cases of the virus, while Bon Homme County is down to 52 active cases.
There are 387 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19 in South Dakota, which is the lowest total in nearly two months in the state. The State Department of Health says there are 8,773 active cases.
The death toll in the state of Nebraska connected to the coronavirus is now at 1,470 after 17 additional fatalities were added to the total yesterday. There were a dozen new positive tests for COVID-19 Friday in Cedar County, where there are 133 active cases over the past 14 days
