With the deadline for applications only a few days away, local officials are urging small businesses to consider applying for the second round of the South Dakota Small Business, Non-Profit and Healthcare Grants.
Yankton Area Progressive Growth CEO Nancy Wenande says round two of the grant program covers losses due to COVID 19 in the months of September through November of this year.
Wenande says even if they haven’t received any payments yet, people who applied during the first round of grant funding are eligible to apply now.
The program covers losses up to five hundred thousand dollars and Wenande says even if their losses were much lower, small businesses should consider applying for the funding.
The deadline to apply for round two of the South Dakota Small Business, Non-Profit and Healthcare Grants is this Sunday.
