After working through government mandated closures and other impacts from the COVID 19 pandemic this year, local business leaders are encouraging area residents to help support Yankton’s retailers throughout the upcoming holiday shopping season.
Yankton Area Progressive Growth CEO Nancy Wenande says much of the support for local community and school programs comes from Yankton’s business community.
Wenande says local consumers may find that Yankton’s retailers offer many of the goods and services they are looking for.
Wenande says residents can also help support the local community by following the CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID 19.
This year’s Small Business Saturday event is set for November 28th.
