On Wednesday evening in Riverside Park, the Yankton County Search and Rescue Team held a meet and greet for the public.

Besides giving away life jackets and serving hotdogs, the public was able to see 2 of their boats, some SCUBA equipment, 2 drones and a tracked ATV.

Zupfer says that this setup enables them to deploy 2 boats in about 15 minutes, but towed to the scene by just one truck, and each of these boats has a retractable dive platform on the bow.
Several hundred people showed up to get to know who they are and what they do for the community.
