Yankton Parks and Rec has announced that they will be partnering with Avera Sacred Heart to offer “Be the Hero”, which is a health and safety class for kids.
Events Coordinator Luke Youmans says that the class will teach kids first-aid and CPR.
Youmans says that the class will be beneficial for kids because a situation where first-aid or CPR needs to be applied could happen at any time.
Youmans says that registration for the “Be the Hero” class will be available in April.
