  • The winter break is over and basketball is returning to the Summit Activities Center as the Bucks (3-1) prepare to host ESD foe (1-3) Huron Tigers tonight for a varsity clash. You can catch the pregame at 630pm/tipoff at 7 on KYNT and KYNTV with Bryce Ladwig.
  • The Yankton Wrestling squad looks to shake off the winter break rust and roll out the mats tonight for a varsity triangular with host Mitchell as well as Harrisburg. Start time is set for 5pm.
  • South Dakota fifth-year senior Chloe Lamb has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. This marks the first weekly honor of the season for Lamb and the third of her career. Lamb scored 27 points on 10-of-16 in the Coyotes’ 65-38 win over North Dakota State on Saturday. The Coyotes host in-state rival South Dakota State for the first regular season meeting at 1 pm Saturday inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
  • The latest prep basketball media poll has been released. The Yankton Bucks have received votes this week and are coming off a big victory at the Hoop City Classic in Mitchell over the winter break.
