Ballot Issue Caught at Yankton City Hall; Some Voters Miss Out on Voting for Yankton City Commission

Some Yankton city voters received the wrong ballot while voting this morning.

Yankton County Auditor, Patty Hojem, confirmed that some voters at City Hall received the county ballot, which did not include the Yankton City Commission race.

Hojem says the only way the issue would have been able to have been corrected for those voters was for them to point it out to poll workers while at City Hall.

Hojem says those voters will not be able to recast their vote, but says the issue is fixed going forward.
