This month is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and Yankton NDEAM will host their annual event at the Avera Scared Heart Pavilion on Wednesday.
Jennifer Trenhaile, with South Dakota Human Services, says the guest speaker at Wednesday’s event will be Sunshine Suzy.
Yankton NDEAM will also recognize their 2026 Employee and Employer of the Year during the event.
