The Dakota Theatre will help in telling the story of a group that was involved in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.
Two artists, Emmanuel David and Yumi Janairo Roth, have been taking the traveling art project “We Are Coming” to different theatres across the U.S., telling the story of the Filipino Rough Riders, who were part of Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.
Roth says The Dakota Theatre is a place they’ve wanted to bring the show to for years.
David says the names of the performers will be on the marquee of The Dakota Theatre through today, with a free presentation on the history of the Filipino Rough Riders at The Dakota Theatre tonight.
The presentation will begin tonight at 7 pm at The Dakota Theatre.
