Yesterday’s scheduled tennis triangular in Harrisburg involving Yankton has been postponed to Thursday due to rain.

Due to the chance of more rain on Thursday, the triangular has been moved indoors to Huether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls.

Yankton will take on Harrisburg first at 9:00 AM on Thursday, before wrapping up their regular season against Sioux Falls Washington at 11:30 AM.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer will host Harrisburg tonight in their final home doubleheader of the regular season.

The Bucks and Gazelles are both looking to get back into the win column, with the Bucks drawing 0-0 and the Gazelles falling 1-0 in their last matches with Pierre.

The girls will play first at 5:00 PM, with the boys to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 4:00.

The Yankton Bucks remain 3rd in the latest 11AA Football Media Poll after last week’s 14-7 win over Huron.

The Pierre Governors remain first in the class with another unanimous vote. Tea Area is second, with Watertown and Huron rounding out the top five. Spearfish is receiving votes.

Elsewhere in the polls, the Avon Pirates remain 4th in 9B after their bye week, while Bon Homme dropped from 2nd to 5th in 9AA after their loss to Sioux Falls Lutheran last week.

Yankton Bucks Golf is scheduled to travel to Watertown today for an invitational at Cattail Crossing Golf Course.

Today’s competition is one of the last of the season for the Bucks, with only the ESD Conference Meet, the Marchand Cup, and the State Tournament remaining on their schedule.

Tee time is scheduled for 10:00 AM this morning. Thirteen teams are currently set to compete in the event.

Yankton Gazelles Volleyball is on the road tonight for a Class AA matchup against the Tea Area Titans.

The Gazelles are 5-6 on the year, ranked 10th in the class, following a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Vermillion and Pierre last week.

First serve from Tea Area High School is scheduled for 6:30 PM this evening.

Yankton Competitive Cheer and Dance will compete at the Brandon Valley Invite tonight in Brandon.

Events are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM at Brandon Valley High School.

Mount Marty Volleyball resumes GPAC play tomorrow night against the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Lancers are coming off a pair of non-conference wins this past weekend, defeating Haskell Indian Nations University 3-0 and York University 3-1.

First serve from Omaha between the Lancers and Flames is scheduled for 7:30 PM Wednesday evening.

Mount Marty Women’s Soccer will be in Omaha tomorrow night for their second conference match of the season against the College of Saint Mary.

The Lancer women were dominant in their GPAC opener on Saturday, shutting out Waldorf in a 5-0 victory.

Kickoff between the Lancers and Flames is scheduled for 3:00 PM Wednesday afternoon.

Wayne State Head Football Coach Logan Masters and Yankton Gazelles Soccer Coach Tyler Schuring will be the featured speakers at tomorrow’s Yankton Quarterback Club Meeting.

Masters is in his 5th season as Wildcats Head Coach, tallying a 34-15 record. Schuring has been the lone head coach in program history for the Gazelles, winning two ESD Conference titles and a state championship during his tenure.

The meeting will be held at the River Rock Event Center at noon. A meal will be available for purchase beginning at 11:15. The public is invited to attend.
