Mount Marty Women’s Soccer picked up their first ever win over former GPAC foe Nebraska Wesleyan last night at Crane-Youngworth Field.
The Lancers secured a dominant 5-0 victory, snapping a 16-match losing streak to the Prairie Wolves. Avery Hoskins bagged two goals for MMU, with Rhyli Grim, Alyssa Rios, and Julianne Donnelly adding a goal each.
The Lancers travel to Kansas this weekend, taking on Tabor College on Friday and Hesston on Sunday.
Mount Marty Men’s Soccer played Minnesota Morris to a 0-0 draw last night in their first home match of the season.
The Lancers outshot the Cougars 8-2 in the draw, allowing only a single shot on target in each half.

The Yankton Bucks look to bounce back from their first loss of the season tomorrow night, as they take on the Sturgis Scoopers in Sturgis.
The 1-1 Bucks are ranked 4th in the latest 11AA Football Media Polls, with the Scoopers receiving votes. Both teams’ losses this season have come to the top-ranked Pierre Governors.

The Bucks and Gazelles are coming off a win and a draw on Tuesday over Mitchell, as the Bucks won 8-1, while the Gazelles tied 1-1.
The girls will play first at 3:00 PM, with the boys set to follow.
Yankton Gazelles Volleyball is on the road tonight to take on the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers in Class AA play.
The Gazelles are 3-5 on the season following their 3-1 loss to O’Gorman on Tuesday. The Cavs enter tonight’s match 1-3.
