Murder-Suicide Suspected in Husband-and-Wife Deaths in Pierce County Nebraska

A murder-suicide is suspected in the deaths of a husband-and-wife north of Osmond, Nebraska Wednesday.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says that they received a call reporting two people dead at a residence north of Osmond.

Upon arrival, deputies and the Nebraska State Patrol found two people dead, both with gunshot wounds.

The authorities were able to identify Ashley Moes (34) and Jordan Moes (37) as the deceased.

After an investigation, it is believed that Ashley died from a gunshot wound and that Jordan died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. The investigation is ongoing.
