There was a grand opening Wednesday for the new Park Haven Learning and Recovery Center in Yankton.
Park Haven, which is a residential treatment program used to serve mothers and pregnant women dealing with substance abuse, was given $3.8 million in state funds to Avera to then lease the facility to Lewis and Clark Behavioral Health Services to run the program.
Raelene Broz, the Program Director for LCBHS, says the facility consists of 18 rooms.
Park Haven officially opens Monday. Broz says they already have five clients scheduled to come in next week.
