The Yankton County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 81 and 304th Street Thursday morning.
Yankton County Sheriff, Preston Crissey, says a preliminary investigation indicates that a semi-tractor pulling a side-dump trailer was turning westbound onto 304th Street from Highway 81 when it was struck by a southbound passenger vehicle traveling on Highway 81.
Crissey says weather conditions were determined to be a contributing factor in the crash. The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
