On August 7th the Trail of Governors Foundation will be hosting a ceremony to unveil the life-size bronze statue of former Governor Kristi Noem.
Noems official portrait will also be unveiled at the ceremony.
The statue was created by sculptor John Lopez and the portrait was done by David Uhl.
The ceremony, which is open to the public, will be held at 10am on August 7th at Hilgers Gulch in Pierre.
