The City of Yankton is expected to raise some utility rates for 2027.
Duane Johnson, with the City of Yankton, says one of those rates is wastewater.
City Manager Amy Leon says the other is solid waste and recycling.
The recommendation is for both rates to go up 3% next year.
No decision was made tonight. The city commission is expected to bring forward a resolution at their next meeting on July 27th.
