Yankton County Preparing for Severe Weather Awareness Week

This week marks Severe Weather Awareness Week.

Yankton County Emergency Management Director, Paul Scherschligt, says they will be testing all of the sirens in the county on Wednesday.

Scherschligt says they’ll be hosting a severe weather training event with the National Weather Service on Wednesday.

Scherschligt says the severe weather training event will be held at Fire Station #2 on Wednesday at 6:30.
