United Way of Greater Yankton wrapped up its annual capital campaign this week.
Executive Director Jesse Bailey says after some funding cuts in 2025, United Way set a lower campaign goal of $622,000, but were able to raise over $700,000.
Bailey says the Yankton community was able to step up in a big way with this year’s campaign.
Bailey says the funds raised from the campaign will go to United Way’s partner agencies in the community.
