Yankton City Manager Amy Leon and County Commission Chair John Marquardt gave an update on the city and county respectively at an event hosted by the Sertoma Club Thursday.
Leon discussed the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
Marquardt addressed the county’s attempt to add a juvenile detention center in Yankton County.
Marquardt says the juvenile detention center could end up on the ballot during the general election in November.
